Equinox Fitness
Background:
Equinox Fitness is one of the premier fitness clubs in the U.S., with over 50 locations. Equinox began in the heart of Century City, CA attached to the renowned Century Hyatt hotel. AV Planners was asked to design and install a Audio Visual system that would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Challenge:
This club was a new design and build with over 70,000 square feet. The scope of work also needed to be completed within three months.
Solution:
AV Planners designed a system for the fitness club, the spa, and all common areas, including the out door retreat area adjacent to the SPA. By combining plasma screens and a DMX sound system, AV Planners was able to create an electronic-friendly environment in virtually every room, including locker rooms, fitness rooms, and treatment rooms.
AV Planners was successful of creating an Audio Visual experience which allows the members to enjoy their workout or a day at the spa with the Audio Visual portion to blend into the environment.
