Today Epson expanded its PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line with five new LCD models aimed at specific markets like education, HOW, rental and digital signage applications. All models come with edge blending, split screen capability, DICOM Simulation mode2, built-in alignment, plus two HDMI inputs, HD-SDI and VGA ports. Because they are stackable and side-by-side blockable, edge blending is fairly simple. This range of projectors is the first at this performance level for EPSON.
The five models include:
All five models have IP control, 10 memory blocks for set-up and display calibration, can be managed with EPSON's Easy Management network software (including copying set-up configuration for both install and rental/staging applications of many daisy-chained projectors) and are spec'd a a 5000:1 contrast ratio.

Why just look at your display when you can interact with it? The Sharp PN-L702b has everything you'll need to help share your ideas with a room full of people – whether in person or online. Now more than ever the need to communicate with your audience is an important aspect of presentations and meetings. And when you're competing with a multi tasker, your presentation has to stand out.
How it Works
Let's face it, the days of a simple Power Point presentation are over. Through integrated touchscreen technology, documents can be viewed and altered in hundreds of ways. Whether working on something as complicated as blueprints or as simple as meeting itineraries, users can add notes, highlight, underline, and draw on the images. And don't worry if you make a mistake as they can easily be erased; this product is essentially a much more sophisticated version of the Paint app.
With the combination of LCD screens and “photo align technology,” images can be displayed on a large and lit screen. This whiteboard technology can also be used with videoconferencing and web conferencing.
Another feature that can be utilized is through the help of a wireless scanner/printer combo. Users can scan and upload documents to be altered, displayed, or both. Images can then be printed, changes and all. Enlarge or shrink images by touch, and engage your audience without having to worry about the technology. And before you're done presenting, you can set calendar items – while videoconferencing – and print or email agendas while facing your audience. Meetings have to keep up, and the Sharp PN-702b is up to the task.
Why We Like It
Sharp's product is essentially whiteboarding without the white board. Sharp has taken this technology to the next level by combining a 70” LCD screen with Sharps whiteboard technology – the image is amazing and the technology makes it easy to use. But beyond these points, Sharp simply brings a quality product to the table. Competitors, such as Smart Tech, also provide whiteboards, but the technology simply doesn't compare.
Unlike most interactive whiteboards, the hardware is built into the screen with no need to calibrate a projector or configure third-party software. And those aren't the only features it has going for it. Sharp's whiteboard is a high quality product all around, in both production and display – all at an affordable price.
Sharp's whiteboard also:
-has a 70” display screen
-comes with the ability to share info while videoconferencing
-provides the option of “writing” on the board with either a finger or a stylus
-comes with built-in templates for projects or data displays
-allows users to import and export data
